Happening this Shabbat

Our Shabbat Evening Service takes place in Shul and on Zoom at 18h00 (6 PM) on Friday evening. Please join us at either “venue”, and if you choose to be there in person, please join us for the Brocha in the Janks Hall thereafter.

The Shabbat Morning Service will be on the Veranda leading onto the Garden and on Zoom at 09h30. The Brocha will be in the Courtyard.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day

Today (27 Jan 22) is the 77th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, commemorated worldwide as International Holocaust Remembrance Day. If you’d like to observe the anniversary in a meaningful way, we suggest attending The Johannesburg Holocaust & Genocide Centre’s virtual commemoration this evening. ARZENU Beit Emanuel

ARZENU Beit Emanuel will be holding its first activity for 2022, an online Havdalah ceremony on Saturday, 5 Feb, 18h30 (6.30 PM). This will be followed by a talk from a special international guest speaker. Details to follow in next week’s Bulletin.
