A wonderful time was had by all at our Yom Ha’atzmaut Fun Day. While the adults relaxed and chatted the children had a whale of a time enjoying pony rides, a jumping castle, sand art and face painting. ‘Poppy’ – our new Popcorn Machine, kindly donated by a congregant, proved to be a huge hit with both adults & children.
We were honoured with the presence of our special guests, Mr. Michael Freeman, Deputy Chief of Mission, Embassy of Israel, Mr. Aviad Sela, Director, Israel Centre, Ori Leizer, Aliyah Shaliach & Betar & Reeva Forman, Temple Israel Chair & honorary chair, SAZF.
A great sense of community prevailed. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to bring this event together and to make it such a success!
