Slawomir Grünberg
is an award-winning documentary film producer, director and cinematographer – an independent artist, focusing on social, political, environmental and identity issues. A graduate of the Polish Film School in Lodz, author of over 45 documentary projects.
Elyakim Rubinstein
was the Attorney General of Israel from 1997 to 2004 and is now serving as a Judge on the Supreme Court of Israel. Judge Rubinstein, a lifelong Israeli diplomat and civil servant, has had an influential role in that country’s internal and external politics, most notably in helping to shape its peace treaties with Egypt and Jordan.
Moira Crone
has been practicing dream work since 2002. Professor Emerita and former director of Louisiana State University’s MFA program in creative writing. Her latest novel, ‘The Not Yet’, was a finalist for the Philip K. Dick Award in 2013 for best science fiction novel of the year.
The best of Beit Emanuel will also be at Limmud.
Rabbi Sa’ar Shaked will talk with Gabriel Meyer Halevy and sit on a panel looking at Jewish Paths to the Divine; Irwin Manoim will tell the story of the Weekly Mail; Prof. David Bilchitz will present on Noah and the Life of Pi; Dr.Karen Lazar will pay tribute to Nadine Gordimer.
