As part of the Mandela Day project, please join Beit Emanuel, Bet David, Bet Menorah & Netzer in a walk from the Malaika Orphanage to Temple Israel doing a clean up of the streets on the way and then reading to the children. We are also collecting the following for activities with the children please assist: Broken toys, equipment etc., magazines, off cuts of material, shoe boxes, Styrofoam, toilet rolls, tape, glue, scissors, paper plates and then on the day one of the activities will include creative recycling, where we make toys and art from all the goods (box rockets, paper plate snakes, CD mobiles etc, – this will empower children and educators /care givers.)
