The Shabbat brocha is one of the highlights of Beit Emanuel. For many people it is their Friday night meal, offering good food and a chance to sit around and chat with friends in a Jewish atmosphere. But, even with sponsorships from generous members, the average Friday night spread costs the shul around R1 000. Please help out by donating R20 per head per brocha – the price of a cup of coffee at a restaurant – which will go some way towards covering the cost of the meal.
