Following the service on Shabbat mornings, Beit Emanuel hosts an interesting and informed speaker on a thought-provoking topic. Sessions run for approx. an hour starting at 11.45 am.
28 June – Rabbi Shaked will discuss the CCAR Platforms (The Central Conference of American Rabbis) – Youth Lounge (time & venue change due to barmitzvah). This series covers the evolution of the principles of Progressive Judaism. The third part deals with the contemporary situation and the impact of the State of Israel on Jewish thinking.
