Beit Emanuel has embarked upon a series of exciting changes designed to expand and diversify our membership, and re-establish Progressive Judaism as a significant force in the Jewish community. We believe we have the right formula, the right people, and the right kind of energy to grow our congregation. We have a new Rabbi with bold ideas, enthusiasm, and a clear vision consistent with the values of Progressive Judaism in South Africa.

Property Revitalisation – maintenance to the shul building and entire campus is urgently required. R900 000
Professional fees and alterations to enable us to best leverage the use of approximately 1000 square metres of underutilised resources. This to be used as a school or something similar. It will ensure we have regular income and accelerate our renewal vision to modernise our shul and facilities: R250 000
Relocation costs of both Rabbi Ash and Rabbi Shaked: R250 000
Exceptional costs to ensure the safety and suitability of accommodation and transport needs of Rabbi Shaked and his young family: R150 000
