SHABBAT KORACH (ROSH CHODESH)
TORAH: NUMBERS 16: 1 TO 14 HAFTARAH: ISAIAH 66: 1 TO 24
FRIDAY 7 JUNE
Evening service 6.00 p.m. – Followed by a Kiddush sponsored by The Care Committee honouring Maureen Katzeff and John Sherriffs for their contribution to the congregation over many years.
SATURDAY 8 JUNE
Morning service at 9.30 a.m. – 11.00 a.m. followed by a Brocha in the Courtyard/Garden
Adult Education Programme – 11.15 a.m. – 12.15 p.m.
This week Prof. Marcia Leveson will discuss: “South African Jewish fiction – Then and Now”.
Talmud Study – 12.30 p.m.- 2.00 p.m. (latest) Talmud Study, tractate Berachot, using the new Koren Hebrew/English edition of the Talmud.
