If you have been through the conversion process under the auspices of any Progressive Synagogue in South Africa but did not undergo the ritual of tevilah (immersion in a ritual bath/mikveh) we can offer you this service and a certificate of tevilah.
We will be supervising immersions in the mikveh on Sunday 3 March at a location in Craighall Park.
If you would like to undergo this ceremony of immersion in completion of conversion, please contact the synagogue office to book your place.
There is a modest fee of R100.00 as a donation to the SAUPJ to support Progressive Judaism.
