Volunteer of the Month: Ellen Appleton

We would like to recognise Ellen Appleton, who last year retired from the Ritual Committee, after serving on that committee for as long as she and anyone else can remember! Despite her youth, Ellen came in before and after the High Holy Days and did or supervised the polishing of all the Torah Silver, as well as changing the Ark curtains, Torah covers and reading desk covers, ensuring that our sanctuary was suitably attired in its High Holy Day garb for the occasion!
