Host family needed for new Netzer Shaliach from Israel

Are your kids involved with Netzer, our amazing youth group. If so, here’s an opportunity for you to boost the wonderful work that they do. Yuval Berger has been appointed the new shaliach for Netzer in Johannesburg, and should be with us for a year from about mid-August. Yuval will need an adoptive or host family from Beit Emanuel during his stay.
Here’s what’s required: “Adoptive Families – The initial role of the adoptive families involves helping the Shaliach to get settled upon arrival and assisting him in his social integration into the community. This includes arranging a welcome reception for the Shaliach shortly after his arrival, as well as organizing initial invitations and gatherings with members of the community. The adoptive families should also extend invitations to the Shaliach for Shabbat and Holiday meals. These families will remain part of the Shaliach’s main support system throughout his stay in the host community.”
Please note that you are not required to provide accommodation, as a flat is provided for the shaliach’s use.
