Could you prove you are Jewish?

Many Jewish Organizations such as Schools and Welfare bodies like the Chevra Kadisha will only offer their services to those people who can prove that they are Jewish.
We know that the files we hold on many of our members do not contain copies of the necessary documents to prove their Jewish status.
If you have any documents such as Ktubot, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Certificates the Rabbi would be most grateful if you would give him copies to put into your file. This will act as a useful ‘backup’ should you ever lose those documents.
