A thank you to our neighbour, Father Mokesh

One of our special guests on Friday, 8 July was Joseph Weiler, son of the late Rabbi M C Weiler, the founding Rabbi of the Progressive Movement in SA.  Joseph is Shomer Shabbat, and asked to be accompanied back to the Sunnyside Park Hotel after the event.  One of the people who readily agreed to escort Professor Weiler back to his rooms was Father Mokesh Morar, chaplain to our neighbours, the Holy Family College.

Father Mokesh is a frequent and welcome attendee at our Friday night services and other events, but clearly not a member.  Thank you to all those who helped Professor Weiler keep the Sabbath according to his beliefs, and a special thank you to Father Mokesh for his selfless act of neighbourliness.
