FRIDAY 20 SEPTEMBER Kabbalat Shabbat Service in Solidarity with the Jewish Outlook – Gay & Lesbian Community – 06.00 p.m. – Synagogue followed by a Brocha in the Sukkah with Guest Speaker Lael Bethlehem.
SATURDAY 21 SEPTEMBER Shabbat Morning service 09.30 a.m. – Courtyard followed by a Brocha in the Sukkah Adult Education Programme – JTALK – 11.15 a.m.- this week Prof. Merle Williams will discuss: “Yehuda Amichai’s Jerusalem: Love, Conflict, Redemption?” The session will involve a segment of the Melton ‘graduate programme’ on ‘Contemporary Hebrew Literature as a Window on Israeli Society’. Talmud Study – 12.15 – 02.00 p.m.
