The Omer food hampers are handed over

Huge piles of food hampers stacked up in the Beit Emanuel hall

On Thursday, 28 June 2012 the huge collection of food from the Omer was officially handed over to the Woman for Progressive Judaism (Beit Emanuel Sisterhood) and the United Sisterhood who in turn will be distributing the food to the various organizations they support.
