Volunteers needed to lead evening prayers after funerals

The synagogue is asked to provide a person to lead evening service and memorial prayers after funeral services on a small number of occasions each year. This usually takes place in private homes, otherwise at Beit Emanuel. When possible the Rabbi or student Rabbi will lead these services. If the Rabbi or student Rabbi is not available, a lay person will lead the service.
If you already do this, but especially if you would like to offer to lead services, please come to a briefing on our new evening service & memorial prayer booklet. This will take place on Thursday 14 June 2012 at 6.30 p.m. in the Rabbi’s Study.
